What are Coelacanths, and What Do They Have to Do With the Theory of Evolution?

Dear reader,

Coelacanths (SEE-la-kanths) are fish that evolutionists once thought became extinct about the same time dinosaurs did (supposedly 65 million years ago). Evolutionists believed that these fish were the "the missing link" between water and land animals. However, in the late 1930s, a real, live coelacanth was caught in the Indian Ocean near Madagascar (an island off the eastern coast of Africa).

Since that time, over 100 coelacanths have been caught around the world. Modern day coelacanths look exactly like their fossil counterparts (whichare mistakenlydated by evolutionists as being millions of years old).

The truth is, coelacanths did not gradually develop over millions of years into land animals, any more than ape-like creatures ever developed into humans.
